Cost & Funding
A common question students have when taking part in an international experience is determining how they will finance it. Compared to a semester at CSN, international experience expenses may seem expensive, but they can actually be fully-funded, cost close to, or even be cheaper than the tuition at a 4-year institution, like the University of Las Vegas – Nevada.
Going abroad can be affordable. After considering the academic, professional, and personal benefits that most alumni experience, the investment that you make in your international experience will be worth it! Below we’ve gathered valuable information on the funding options that you can investigate.

Crowdfunding
A fun and easy way to involve your immediate and extended family and friends in supporting your international experience is through crowdfunding.
Student Loans & Personal Loans
Though borrowing money is usually not the preferred way to fund an international experience, there is quite a difference between careless credit card spending and taking out a loan to assist with an educational investment.
Given today’s diverse, global labor market, an international experience can give you a competitive edge to jump start your professional future. Federal and private loans generally provide students with loans at reasonable interest rates which do not require repayment until after graduation.
