Faculty & Staff
CSN faculty and staff are fundamental to the internationalization of our campus. The International Center and Education Abroad serves as your partner and resource in this endeavor.
Ways to get involved
Advocate
The academic, professional, and personal benefits of participating in an international experience make education abroad a true “win-win” for our students. Join us as we advocate the benefits of an international education and encourage CSN students to broaden their perspectives.
You can help advocate by:
- Ask –Ask your student if they have ever been abroad or thought about the opportunity
- Encourage –Encourage them to pursue the opportunity and emphasize that education abroad is for everyone.
- Share –Share your own (or your previous students’) transformative international experiences
- Connect –Connect students with Education Abroad. Give them our website and contact info – We would love to meet them!

Lead a Program Abroad
CSN faculty now have the opportunity to broaden the scope of their classrooms by taking small groups of CSN students abroad. Whether it’s field work in Costa Rica, culinary courses in France, or global health studies in Ghana, CSN faculty have the unique opportunity to teach and mentor our students overseas.
As faculty-led programs are often the most accessible financially and academically to our students, Education Abroad encourages CSN faculty to develop and lead their own short-term experiences. From an idea to a transformative international experience, Education Abroad serves as a resource in program development for all CSN faculty.

Affiliate Partners & Host Institutions
Not sure who to partner with overseas or how to get started? Education Abroad works with a number of premier study abroad organizations who assist us in the facilitation of our international experiences. These organizations can aid faculty with the coordination of a faculty-led program, contributing as little or as much as needed.
